Seed Web Design is a small, purpose-driven studio specialising in custom Squarespace websites for allied health professionals.
When it comes to marketing and advertising, allied health professionals have specific needs & being a Clinical Psychologist I UNDERSTAND them. Seed Web Design grew out of a deep understanding of the psychology field.
Having worked in both private practice and business for over 10 years, as well as academia, I saw first-hand how important it is for allied health professionals to have a website that communicates not just what they do, but who they are.

So, how did a Clinical Psychologist start designing websites? A bit about my story…
I’ve spent over a decade working as a Clinical Psychologist, supporting clients and running my own private practice. But life took an unexpected turn when my young daughter was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition that requires daily care and ongoing management. Suddenly, the demands of clinical work and running a business became unsustainable (I was 75% of the way through a PhD and that also had to go!)— I knew I had to pivot.
I’d designed a few websites on the side — for my own business, for friends, and for family. But it wasn’t until a dear friend (and my husband) encouraged me to take it seriously that I began to consider it as more than just a hobby…
… and that’s when a seed was planted.
With my background in the mental health industry, I started designing websites for other psychologists. But I quickly realised how much I enjoyed the process — the creative flow, the thoughtful structure, the satisfaction of bringing someone’s vision to life. I expanded my services to support all allied health professionals and small business owners, combining my understanding of client care with a passion for design.
From that seed, Seed Web Design was born — and I’ve been nurturing it ever since.
